news for 2021!

Hi, there! Welcome to our Jangles Angels website. Please bookmark us to see all the updates we will be making as we pursue our mission to save adoptable dogs.

Jangles was one of our founder's pets who has passed over the rainbow bridge. Our organization is named in her memory. We will be proactively searching for adoptable dogs that we find on social media or in shelters in our West Texas area where they are in danger of being euthanized. As Jangles' Angels, we will try to rescue as many of these dogs as possible and bring them into our foster program. After cleaning them up; vetting them, including spay/neuter, rabies, disease shot, wormer, etc.; and generally socializing them, we will place them for adoption across the country.

In addition to these in-danger dogs, we will try to help with any adoptable dog that needs a new home when we have a foster home available.  If you are interested in being a foster, please click here! We can furnish a kennel and dog house if necessary.

After much deliberation about maintaining the Jangles Resale Boutique, our board has decided that we would rather spend our volunteer time and money strictly on our adoption and foster program. The building at 201 S Commercial in Coleman is now for sale. If you know anyone who might be interested in a prime downtown location, please call Lizette at 979-236-5624 for details. Barks Pet Parlor will continue to be in business at the rear door of the store.

If you see or hear of a dog that is in danger of being euthanized anywhere in our general area, please let us know. We can't take them all but will do our best to look into it and save adoptable dogs. Thank you!
